Quality-focused architect supporting ten teams, with one shared bar for how those teams ship. Architected an AWS payroll-file intermediary that replaced on-premises processing. Delivered WORM-compliant audit trails for a high-visibility platform with a fiduciary duty to meet, and managed a contracting team through that work, including SEC-related recordkeeping. Led working sessions on AI adoption, mainframe modernization, and AWS cost. Presented across the organization on AI adoption, aimed at practical implementation.
Founded the studio behind the client systems and product work on this site. I still run it, in scoped engagements: device software, cloud services, interfaces, and the handoff into operation. Connected users to seller platforms and payment service providers, unifying that experience across John Deere. Deployed serverless architecture in AWS with TypeScript and Terraform through Jenkins CI/CD. Developed the Swagger-documented payments platform that defined seller-platform onboarding. Evaluated GraphQL and Apollo against DynamoDB to cut over-fetch, and kept that work as a prototype and an evaluation. Carried technical judgment into planning with the team.
Designed AI-based self-service customer experience, reducing ticket creation by 41% and saving ~$5k/week. Created UX flow, system flow, sequence, and architecture diagrams. Supported Nonprofits Platform including on-call support and root-cause analysis. Deployed Azure Service Buses, SQL DBs, Cosmos DBs, Azure VMs, C#.NET APIs, and Azure Functions. Enforced accessibility through automated pipeline scans.
Delivered software for government mandate enabling client access to data using Node.js and React.js. Specified Swagger docs for offshore resources and drove last mile of implementation and integration. Managed Azure DevOps repos and pipelines for project components deployed in AWS.
